Artist Knut Yran turned Oslo into a sort of Viking tourist salesman. The smiling, winking Viking holds the OSLO flag in one hand while literally presenting the attractions of the city on a platter. On that platter are recognizable Norwegian/Oslo symbols including the Holmenkollen ski jump, Oslo City Hall (Rådhuset), a Viking longship, sailboats and the Kon-Tiki raft.

Knut Yran (1920–1998), a Norwegian illustrator, graphic designer and advertising artist who became particularly associated with colorful mid-century imagery promoting Norway and Norwegian tourism.

Poster Dimensions: 24” x 38” - I do plan to design it smaller focusing only on the shape of our Viking friend.
