An original 1988 Limited edition print, from a series of 300 by artist Victor Vasarely named “Harlequin Sportif”. This print is for a puzzler who loves a challenge. My thoughts regarding design are acrylic squares cut to match the squares/pixels on the print in all different spots and perhaps differing colors to add value to the color scheme that’s repetitious. My color choices will add value and a 3-dimensional aesthetic to an already warped image.
Dimensions: 32” x 23.5” - This will be approximately 1300-1400 pcs
Victor Vasarely (1906–1997) was a Hungarian–French artist and one of the principal founders of Op Art (Optical Art)—a movement that uses geometric forms, color interactions, and visual perception to create illusions of movement, depth, and vibration. His work fundamentally changed 20th-century abstract art and continues to influence design, architecture, and digital aesthetics. Moved to Paris in 1930, working in graphic design before developing his distinctive optical style. Vasarely developed a language of geometric abstraction rooted in science, mathematics, and visual psychology.
