Original movie poster for Frank Sinatra’s “None But the Brave” from 1965. Issued by the National Screen Service. The poster measures 27"x41". This is the only film directed by Frank Sinatra. Set during World War II, it is the story of a small group of American Marines who crash land on an atoll and try reaching a brief truce with the Japanese troops already holding the island in order to survive a series of tribulations. The first post war film co-produced by Japanese and Americans, star and director Frank Sinatra produced for Warner Brothers. Apparently Sinatra felt out of place as a film director, and this remains his only movie directing effort. The movie has a strong, effective anti-war theme.
We love the hand drawn art, but we cannot determine who the artist was. This fifty seven year old poster is in really nice condition. We can already foresee a unique design given the play of two-tone colors and juxtaposition. We assume the puzzle will be around 900-1000 pieces.
